Sea World

Another day of our trip to California was spent at Sea World. Personally, I liked Sea World much better than Disneyland. We just had a ton of fun at Sea World. Here are some pictures of the day:

Here is a picture of Cambrie at the tide pools. This was a really cool feature at Sea World. They let the kids touch star fish in a tide pool.

Shark Encounter!! This is a really neat exhibit they have at Sea World. There's one place where you stand on a people mover and go through a tunnel inside the shark aquarium. It's a different view of the sharks you don't get to see very often.

This was the Seamore and Clyde Sea Lion and Otter show. It was a really funny one. We enjoyed it. This is a picture of Seamore.

A movie we took of the kids standing near the Journey to Atlantis roller coaster. It's like a splash mountain kind of coaster that sprays water. They sure had a good time!!

Disneyland

While we were on our trip to California, we spent one day in Disneyland. What an exhausting day! The kids had a blast in the happiest place on earth. Here are a few pictures of the trip to Disneyland:

Here is a picture of the famly in front of Calinfornia Adventure. We ended up spending the majoity of our day in California Adventure. It was less crowded and not lacking in fun things for kids of all ages.

Oceanside Pier Resort

A couple of weeks ago, Andy's Grandma and Grandpa Bogedahl took the whole family to Oceanside, California for a fun filled family reunion. The resort was GEORGEOUS, and we just had a total blast all week long! Here are some pictures of us at the resort:

The 4th of July

On the fourth of July, we woke up and went to the parade on Main Street in Cedar City. Here are some pictures:

Here is our parade spot. We were just south of Stratford Court that hotel on main street. When the fire engines came and were SOOOOOO LOUD, I took Calina back to the back of the parking lot to protect her cute little ears. Cambrie got scared of them, so Andy moved back with her, too.

One of the floats was giving out popsicles. Cambrie REALLY wanted one, but when they were near us, she didn't assert herself strongly enough to be seen among the bigger kids, so she ran after the float to get one. The people on the float threw a popsicle right in the middle of the road, so she nearly got run over by the truck you can see in the background. Andy had to run after her and ask the truck to stop before he ran Cambrie over.....crazy girl! Well, as you can see, she got her popsicle!

Groovefest

After Colby's Wedding, Andy, Cambrie, Calina, and I went over to our good friends Kirk, Bonnie and Jasmine's hotel to take a dip in the pool. It was a really hot day, so even though the pool was FREEZING, it felt really good. After we got dried off and in regular clothes, we crossed the street to go to Groovefest. Groovefest is a festival in Cedar City where the music store Groovacious gets various acts to come and play music in the Cedar City Main Street Park. There are also lots of vendors with booths all around the park. It's a really fun atmosphere. There were a bunch of bounce houses set up in one area of the park for the kids at the festival, and we got tickets for Cambrie and Jasmine's daughter Maili to play in one of the bounce houses. They had a blast!! Here is a picture Andy snapped of them going down the slide in the bouce house:

Colby's Wedding

My little brother, Colby, was married to his sweetheart, Jessica, on June 28. 2008. They were married in the morning in the St. George temple, then had a family dinner and reception in Cedar City that afternoon. I didn't get very many good pictures but here are a few:

Calina's Blessing

We blessed Calina on May 4, 2008. We had the blessing at our house. It was really nice of the bishop to come over before church to let us bless Calina in our house. Here are some pictures:
